CALLING ALL ACTORS, SINGERS, RAPPERS, TAPPERS, and YES.. BEAT BOXERS (between the ages of 8 yrs - 19 yrs old)! We are SO EXCITED about our Next Gen Christmas musical this year, and WE NEED YOU!! It's going to be awesome and SO MUCH FUN!!

LEAD/FEATURED ROLES AND CHOIR
There are many roles and solos available for this show! If you are not cast in a lead/featured role, you will be cast as part of the choir - which is in the entire show. We need everyone, and we need everyone to audition! Please be prepared to sing, rap (if you are interested in one of those roles), and read/act for us.
**If you are auditioning for the choir only, we will ask you to sing with a group at auditions, so you will not need to sing a solo. You will still need to listen to the songs listed/linked below as we will use those for choir auditions as well.
GIRLS: Please listen to and be familiar with "Forever" by Kari Jobe as we will want to hear a portion of this song for your audition. Specifically from "One final breath he gave.." through the entire chorus. (Younger kids, ages 8-10, just the chorus is fine.) We need to hear sweetness, power, and range. Show us what you've got! **You also need to listen to and be familiar with the rap because one female role both sings and raps.
BOYS: Please listen to and be familiar with the 1st verse and chorus of "Same God" by ELEVATION Worship as we will want to hear this for your audition. (Younger kids, ages 8-10, just the chorus is fine.) CLICK HERE TO LISTEN!
RAPPERS: Most of the boy's roles and one of the girls' roles raps, so please listen to and be familiar with "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" theme song, specifically from "In west Philadelphia born and raised..." through "movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air." CLICK HERE TO LISTEN!
VOLUNTEERS
We always need good helpers! Because this is a Next Gen cast, you must be at least 16 years old in order to volunteer. Please register so we know who you are and how you want to help!
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals are extremely important! Your presence/absence effects everyone, so if you are going to commit, we need you to make these a priority. We understand emergencies and illnesses but otherwise, we will expect you to be there.
Rehearsals will take place on Wednesdays (for our actors) from 4:30pm-6pm and for the Company (which is everyone) on Sundays from 1pm-3pm, beginning September 10. You will receive a full rehearsal schedule at auditions.
**Tech week, dress rehearsals, and performances (dates listed below) are non-negotiable and absolutely mandatory.
