We believe that baptism by immersion in water is an outward sign of the inward work of regeneration. We believe in the commemoration of Christ's death through the sharing of bread and juice of the vine, representing His body and blood offered for our salvation.
Initiated at Pentecost, Holy Spirit baptism is the promise of the Father, given by Jesus after His ascension, to empower the church to preach the gospel throughout the earth. The primary purpose of speaking in tongues is to bring edification to the believer by enhancing his prayer life.
Worship at CL is a modern and Spirit-led experience. Our goal is to lead people in a collective and individual expression of sincere worship by standing, clapping of hands, dancing, playing skillfully on instruments, and singing to the Lord.
We believe that God ordained us to support the ministry by the giving of tithes and freewill offerings. We believe that there is a blessing that comes from honoring His word. Our giving is to come from our heart and not out of obligation.
Because God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, Christian Life Church will only recognize marriages between one born biologically as a male and one born biologically as a female.
